Abstract
Activities for arts, crafts, culture and sport have been developed for improving well-being and mental health in clinical populations. These activities can contribute solving psychological issues and enhancing subjective well-being (SWB). SWB has 4 factors, including life satisfaction, happiness, anxiety, and life being worthwhile. These factors give a meaningful influence to our human society. For improving SWB, Creating Arts and Crafting (CAC) is recommended. For art therapy, creative works contain increased self-esteem, emotional regulation, and authentic self-expression. In contrast, loneliness means negative experience for some deficits in the social connection. Receptive arts engagement shows protective effect for longevity.
