An 85-Year Old Female with Improved Arteriosclerosis from Active Lifestyle of Masters Athlete

Abstract
Current case is 85-year-old female with dyslipidemia. She was gymnastics athlete when young, started her career in the local government office, and worked as a Certified Social Insurance and Labor Consultant in her 70s. She started Japan Masters Athletics (JMA), and won all track sprint races of 60-400m, with new all-time record in Kagawa. Pulse wave velocity (PWV) showed improved cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI) as 10.3 to 8.2 for 5 years. She has kept health with well-being and supported educational activity of “Gio-College Summer School” in Kagawa by Shoichi Kiyokawa and his disciples, associated with cooperation and trust in community.
