Plastic are mainly obtained from crude oil by chemical treatment, it can be usable by additives i.e. plasticizers, flame retardants, antioxidants, acid scavengers, lubricants, pigments, antistatic agents, slip compounds to frame them into suitable physical or chemical properties.

Plastic are mainly obtained from crude oil by chemical treatment, it can be usable by additives i.e. plasticizers, flame retardants, antioxidants, acid scavengers, lubricants, pigments, antistatic agents, slip compounds to frame them into suitable physical or chemical properties. Plastic has inherent capability of being molded or shaped normally by the application of intense temperature and pressure. Over the last century human has learned how to use plastic for our socio-economic development. Today plastic find a wide area of application including our day to day activities. Plastic are characterized by inexpensive, robust, durable, easy to manufacture, strong, electrically and thermally in-durative and resistant to shock, mechanical vibration, and corrosion. Worldwide plastic has remarkable contribution in global economy, as they are very easy to manufacture and export. Plastic are one of the most versatile and widely used material in the world which have revolutionized many industries which proved plastic as good alternative for packaging, food, textile, construction and interior decoration. It is very sad to observe that half the world is fighting against plastic pollution which has a larger impact on wildlife habitat, aquatic animal and human health. Recent figure of plastic pollution poses serious threat to our environment which needs immediate attention or it will be too late for our mother earth. According to a report published by WHO, it has been observed that micro plastic cause cancer by basically triggering the growth of mutation cell. United Nation along with several developing nation has understood the concern and already has taken several initiatives towards greenery. India has set a goal to phase out single use plastics by 2022. Researcher has estimated that annual plastic waste generation in India will increase to 165 million tons by 2030 which need immediate awareness, in order to limit this gigantic numeric statistic. The purpose of this paper is to discuss, explore current protective coating system technologies used to protect solar fed outdoor lighting and offshore wind power structure (OWPS) and undergo experimental study which involve use of micro plastics i.e. small pieces of plastic, less than 5 mm (0.2 inch) in length, that occur in the environment which lead to plastic pollution. Nowadays it has been very popular to use micro plastics as insulator in electronics devices and Plastic encapsulated microcircuits (PEM). This innovation work can be modified in order to extend the use of micro plastic for encapsulating over the solar street lighting and wind power structures. Thermal stress, fire and lightning strikes, wave and wind loading, marine and offshore environments are considerable causes of primary steel strength degradation in OWPS. Corrosion reduces mechanical strength as well as thickness of structural components which may lead towards fatigue crack initiation and buckling. These failure mechanisms affect tower service life and may result in tragic structural failure. As a result, large financial investments are involved for both the prevention and recovery of these drawbacks. The corrosion rate of an OWPS and outdoor solar lighting system is dependent on different characteristics of attack which are normally influenced by access to oxygen, humidity, some harmful chemical, microorganism and most impertinently salination. Proposed plastic encapsulation offers several advantages over existing coating in the area of size, cost, performance, transparency, reliability and availability. And the use of micro plastic in this new dimension could open the door for better sustainable green future.
