Water and Environment Journal is an internationally recognized peer-reviewed journal for the dissemination of innovations and solutions focused on enhancing water management best practices. We encourage contributions focused at the interface between academia and industry, which deliver industrially impactful applied research underpinned by scientific evidence. We are keen to attract papers on a broad range of subjects of water.

The main aspects of research areas include, but are not exclusive to; environmental chemistry and biology, environments pollution control and abatement technology, transport and fate of pollutants in the environment, concentrations and dispersion of wastes in air, water, and soil, point and non-point sources pollution, heavy metals and organic compounds in the environment, atmospheric pollutants and trace gases, solid and hazardous waste management; soil biodegradation and bioremediation of contaminated sites; environmental impact assessment, industrial ecology, ecological and human risk assessment; improved energy management and auditing efficiency and environmental standards and criteria.

Original full-length papers, notes/communications on the research of unusual urgency and significance will be considered for publication in this journal. The submission of review articles of topical areas is also considered.

It aims at providing an effective channel of communication between policy-makers, government agencies, academics and research institutions, and professionals working in the field, and to provide a forum for them to disseminate information. The topics include all areas of water resources and environmental engineering, management, education, and training.
