Meckel’s diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract. It is a true diverticulum, typically located on the antimesenteric border, and contains all layers of the intestinal wall. The usual location is on the antimesenteric border of the distal ileum. On rare occasions, it may be located on the mesenteric border of the ileum, the so-called mesenteric Meckel’s diverticulum. We describe a case of Meckel’s diverticulum located at the mesenteric border.
