Abstract

A new visual model has been proposed for describing 1D and 2D random walk based on consideration of nonlinear arithmetic triangles and their generalizations, geometric plotting and recursive formulas are given. Our studies and visual constructions presented in this work show that the nonlinear case of an arithmetic triangle coincides with the optical scheme of the laser. The construction of nonlinear 1D and 2D arithmetic triangles and nonlinear 1D and 2D random walks are in many ways similar to the construction of similar linear cases.
