About 10 years ago, seaweed: Chaetomorpha contains high-density glucose from which ethanol or materials such as biodegradable plastic, have been recently produced.

Traditional aquaculture is labor intensive and costly.

The floatable block is foamed glass which is inexpensive and safe.
