Abstract

In recent years, sepsis (S) has become one of the most serious problems of world health, as evidenced by the negative dynamics of its statistics, causing great concern among specialists. Just a few years ago, the total number of patients with S in the world was estimated at 30 million cases per year, of which 6 million were fatal. Currently, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of patients with S has increased to 48.9 million per year, and the number of deaths - to 11 million.
