Introduction

This innovative technology has a wide range of acceptability among medium, small and marginal farmer due to its easy mechanics and cost effective operational processes. As far as economic is concern Low cost three row cord Marker rice transplanting method is appreciated by farm families, Line department and nearby rice grower community due to its low construction and easy operational course of action. 
India is predominant with cereals, especially Oryza sativa L. with a coverage’s of 43855.34 ('000 hectares) and in South Eastern zone of India that is State Odisha has a coverage’s of 4166 ('000 hectares) under Oryza sativa. L.
Due to high labour requirement and time consuming farming system in transplanted rice cost of production is high and agricultural labourer efficiency is decreases due to unsystematic planting of rice seedling in traditional and single line planting system, yield reduces up to 50 %. Keeping the above problem in mind this experiment has been tested in the farmer’s field and with an innovative ideas a low cost cord marker for line transplanting of rice has been designed. The design of cord marker having two sides 30 inches handle and make holes in a difference of 10 inches total each 3 numbers of hole in both sides of handle for tying the ropes connected in both sides. In the middle of the rope marker another 30 inches bamboo made stick is tie to maintain balance of marker rope. In the cord marker a handle of size of 1 inch width and 30 inches length where three line use for marking and transplanting of rice seedling. The length of the marker is designed as such we can adjust as per length required (Figures 1-3). As per observation this experiment of cord marker increase the agricultural labour efficiency and reduces cost of cultivation of line transplanting up to Rs. 2000/- per acre and increase yield up to 25 q/ha which is 25 % more than single line transplanting method of rice.
