Aim and Scope

Journal of Tourism Studies and Hospitality Research (JTSHR) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, scholarly journal. by providing a platform for scholars to disseminate their research, the journal aims to foster a greater understanding of advancements in all areas of tourism studies and hospitality research. JTSHR welcomes empirical and theoretical research papers and literature reviews from academicians and research scholars on issues of current interest in all tourism studies and hospitality research contexts. The Journal of Tourism Studies and Hospitality Research aims to provide a scholarly forum for learning, inquiry, discussion and disseminating ideas related to tourism studies and hospitality research and evaluating the results. Through this process, we strive to increase awareness of different tourism studies and hospitality issues globally and generally increase interest in research and knowledge related to global issues. In addition areas of research include but are not limited to global business agricultural business management and movie tourism. The journal’s language is English but our scope is international as are our authors and the journal’s content and coverage.

Tourism Management

Tourism management is primarily related to the business aspects of tourism and its policies, as well as cultural activities and social aspects. The national economy and its revenue prospects are also dependent on tourism management. 

Hospitality Industry

In comparison to most other industries, the hospitality industry has the greatest impact. The hospitality industry is primarily concerned with customer satisfaction. 

Tourism Marketing

Tourism Marketing involves distinct characteristics from other marketing plans. Because tourists are temporary, they are exposed to an area's goods and services for shorter periods.

Rural Tourism

Tourism that takes place in rural areas or settlements, providing employment and income to the local population, and offering individualised holiday products to consumers.

Hospitality management has a strong research tradition and specialisation in the areas related to hospitality, sports venues, and travel, including ecotourism, consumer behaviour, and service management.

Tourism Policy and Planning

Tourism policy is to improve the nation’s economy and to develop domestic tourism and revenue. Tourism policy should be future-oriented and comprehensive as it incorporates the interests of a wide diversity of stakeholders.

Hospitality Marketing and Management

Hospitality marketing refers to the marketing of lodging agencies, places, and restaurants through social and traditional media sources.

Sustainable Tourism

Sustainable tourism is said to be tourism that makes full note of its current and future economy, social, and natural effects, tending to the needs of guests, the industry, the earth, and host groups.

Stakeholders Tourism

A stakeholder is said to be an enterpriser or investor for a project or any. Stakeholders in tourism are a person, group, or organisation that has an interest in or concern with that organisation. Stakeholders can affect or be affected by the organisation's actions, objectives, and policies. Some examples of key stakeholders are creditors, directors, and employees.

Facility Management

Facility management is an interdisciplinary field committed to the coordination of space, foundations, individuals, and associations. It is regularly connected with the organisation of office buildings, enclosures, schools, tradition-focused buildings, shopping malls, inns, etc.

Ecotourism

Ecotourism is a type of tourism including delicate, flawless, and generally undisturbed regular zones, proposed as a direct benefit to economic development and to raise funds for ecological conservation.

Resort Management

A programme that prepares individuals to plan, manage, and market comprehensive vacation facilities, services, and related products. It includes hotel management, food service management, and facility planning.

Consumer Behavior and Marketing

Investigation of buyers and the procedures they use to pick utilisation and discard items and administrations. Consumers who are potential customers for the market and ways of processing.

Regional Tourism

A regional tourism is said to be the tourism activities of a region or a state or a country, in this familiar and traditional representations of the region will be held.

E-Tourism

E-tourism is the digitalization of the processes and value chains in the tourism, travel, hospitality, food, and hotel industries that enable organisations to maximise their efficiency and effectiveness.

Culinary Tourism

Culinary tourism is also called food tourism. Culinary tourism is the exploration of food for the purpose of tourism. It is now considered a vital component of the tourism experience. Dining out is common among tourists, and "food is believed to rank alongside climate, accommodation, and scenery" in importance to them.

Hospitality Resource Management stands dedicated to restaurants profitability. Hospitality is the major source of making out business in the tourism aspects.
